This is two hours inside a real professional recording studio in Surrey - singing your favourite songs with your closest friends, heard through studio monitors, guided by a professional engineer, captured properly on record. No Experience Needed
You don't need to be a singer. You don't need any experience. You just need to show up, pick your songs, and let us handle everything else.
Your group will be welcomed into Starcity Studios. A fully equipped professional recording studio just 20 minutes from London Victoria and guided through your session by one of our experienced engineers. You'll record your favourite tracks with full backing, and leave with polished recordings of your best performances.
Every voice is welcome here. Every song is taken seriously. Every moment is captured properly.

FOR KIDS
Ages 6 - 17
For the child who sings constantly, performs at every family occasion, and has been telling everyone they're going to be famous — this is the birthday that proves you believed them.
Star for a Day brings a group of up to eight young performers into a real professional recording studio for a two-hour experience they genuinely won't forget. They'll choose their favourite songs, step up to a professional microphone, hear their voice through studio speakers, and leave with proper recordings of their performances to share, keep and play back whenever they want.
Halfway through the session, two large Domino's pizzas arrive, because no birthday party is complete without it.
All Starcity Studios staff are fully DBS checked. Our team is experienced in working with young people of all ages in a safe, welcoming and professionally managed environment. Parents are welcome to stay throughout and watch their young star perform.
This isn't just a party. It's the moment they realise they can actually do it.
