Give your finished mix the final treatment it needs for release. Mastering is the final stage of the production process, taking your completed mix and preparing it for release, distribution and playback across different listening environments. At Starcity Studios, we approach mastering with the aim of enhancing the finished mix while respecting the production, performance and creative decisions already made. Depending on the project, mastering can involve: • Overall tonal balance • EQ • Dynamics processing • Level optimisation • Stereo image refinement • Final quality control • Track sequencing where applicable • Release-ready WAV files • MP3 delivery where required We can master music across a wide range of genres including Pop,EDM, Afrobeats, R&B, hip-hop, grime, drill, indie, soul, house and dance. Your master should work beyond your studio monitors. We consider how the finished record will translate across headphones, speakers, cars and everyday listening environments. Please provide the highest-quality final mix available, ideally without additional limiting or mastering processing already applied. If you're unsure how to prepare your mix, we'll explain what we need. If your mix isn't finished yet, our Online Mixing or Studio Mixing services may be more appropriate.
