NEUMAN U87
The U 87 is probably the best known and most widely used studio microphone I the world.
The U 87 is equipped with a large dual-diaphragm capsule with three directional patterns: omnidirectional, cardioid and figure-8. These are selectable with a switch below the headgrille. A 10 dB attenuation switch is located on the rear. It enables the microphone to handle sound pressure levels up to 127 dB without distortion. Furthermore, the low frequency response can be reduced to compensate for proximity effect.
UNIVERSAL AUDIO LA610
The LA-610 MkII combines a hand-built in the USA, all-tube, vintage mic preamp design — heard on classic albums by Coldplay, The Beach Boys, and Van Halen — with authentic Teletronix T4 opto-compression circuitry.
This classic channel strip design, with its warm preamp tone and smooth, natural-sounding compression, is updated with modern, user-requested features like true compressor bypass, larger metering, increased output, and an auto-switching power supply.
ADAM AX7 MONITORS
The A7X‘s ability to exactly reproduce every sonic detail no matter how small, its translucent sound image, tonal depth and stereo localization inspires music producers and explains why it is by far the most reviewed and award-winning monitor in recent years.
The tweeter is driven by a 50 Watt A/B amplifier and the bass/mid-woofer by a 100 Watt PWM amplifier. This achieves a very clean and nuanced reproduction of the midrange frequencies with a seamless transition in the crossover from the 7″ woofer, which operates in the range of 42 Hz to 2.5 kHz, towards the X-ART tweeter.
